24th Coordinated Working Group Meeting
We are pleased to announce that the 24th Coordinated Working Group Meeting of the Stellarator-Heliotron Technology Collaboration Programme under the Auspices of the International Energy Agency will be held September 5th -6th, 2024, in Higashi-Hiroshima, Japan. This CWGM directly precedes the upcoming ISHW from September 9th to 13th in Hiroshima, and attending the CWGM can be combined with the ISHW.
The CWGM is a working meeting, not a scientific conference. It fosters and promotes international collaborations within the Stellarator-Heliotron community and synergies with tokamaks and other magnetic field configurations. The meeting outcome will be agreed-upon joint actions and recommended joint experiments for the Stellarator-Heliotron Technology Collaboration Programme members.
The program covers strategic discussions for task forces, joint actions, tokamak/stellarator cooperation, and future directions for the stellarator-type reactor. Please get in touch with the following colleagues if you intend to contribute to the following topics:

The conference dinner will be held on September 5 at the Higashi Hiroshima Campus of Hiroshima University 'La Bohème'. The fee is 'free'.
